Star Trek: Discovery: Lorca's Identity Reveal Is a Game-Changer TV Guide

  1. Tracy Dillon: OH, Nah, nah, nah, NAH! Don't go messing with the mirror universe on this awful show. You done enough damage to the prime universe. Now you want to trash the prime mirror universe? NNAHHH!
  2. Mark Mejia: Clearly, the core base has spoken. We have spoken with our dollar in a myriad of forms. We didn’t subscribe to CBS Access, we didn’t “get on board” after an episode or two, we didn’t become lemmings and just go along because part of the younger portion of the heard (the non Centurions) thought they held greater sway than those of us who gave them perhaps – “their first instruction in Star Trek.” No, we as true Star Trek fans, forged in fire (no pun intended), were cast in the fires of Gene Roddenberry’s original space odyssey, plus from fans such as Bjo Trimble and the like. When Discovery attempted to cast the original fans asunder, we responded. We pushed back, and we pushed back – HARD. That’s what the great bird of the galaxy taught us all decades ago. To sway – yes, in the wind, but to not break in the storm, because sometimes in life – we have learned that sometimes in-fact, the needs of the one – outweigh the needs of the many. In this case, the One is the “Original Core” of Star Trek Fans. The true base, and would not and will not subscribe to this interpretation of these events. This concludes our presentation. Thank you for your attention. (Cite source and paraphrase, STII, Genesis Project, Dr. Carol Marcus).
  3. Troy: Absolutely gutted Lorca has been killed off, I loved his I'm the guv'nor get the job done character. Discovery won't be the same now.
  4. Slice of Life: Indeed!
  5. trf12567: Finally... They got rid of the only alpha male in the series. Now we have a bunch of women, including "Mary Sue" Michael, as well as the admiral and empress Michelle Yeoh. So the feminists are going to save the universe. Every man in the show has a flaw. They are either from the mirror universe, gay Peter puffers or klingons in disguise.
  6. DMSProduktions: Oh fuck off!
  7. Robert Brown jr: Lol yall starting to sound just like the nagging women your fathers caved into. ( or the poor Whiteman) cry me a river.

  9. niizzy a: This turd of a series is still trash? I watched the first 3 episodes and never wanted to touch it again, it almost burned my eyes. But every Star Trek series was rough in the first seasons. Is discovery good yet?
  10. ColSandersLives: Yes... it really got good... much more quickly than its predecessors.
  11. Z Jones: I like her and I like her character but she has not done her homework on the mirror universe. Mirror does not equal evil. It's not a moral inversion on a personal level. There are still decent people in the mirror universe. Spock in mirror mirror, Smiley in the DS9 episodes, Forrest in Enterprise. Those were honorable men. Mirror Lorca should not be dismissed as "the bad guy". For all we know he's trying to do the right thing.
  12. Raj R.: Yeah, isn't he there to save his crew or something. I really need to go watch that...
